Refund Policy

Last updated July 20, 2026

Simple version: cancel any time, your plan runs to the end of what you paid for, and if MyChaperon™ isn't for you we'll refund your first subscription payment within 14 days — no interrogation. If identity verification blocks you, we'll refund you whenever you ask.

Cancelling

You can cancel your subscription any time from your dashboard. Cancelling stops future renewals; your plan stays active until the end of the period you already paid for, and you are not charged again.

First-time purchases: 14-day money-back

If this is your first paid subscription on MyChaperon™ and you ask within 14 days of the first charge, we will refund it in full — email hello@mychaperon.ai from your account email or use the support page. Refunds go back to the original payment method, typically within 5–10 business days, and your plan reverts to Free.

If identity verification doesn’t work out

Every paid plan requires an identity check, and your subscription starts before that check completes. You can retry verification as many times as you need — a blurry photo or an expired document is usually all it is, and failing once costs you nothing.

If you genuinely cannot complete verification, or you decide you no longer want the subscription because of it, email us and we will refund you — including outside the 14-day window above, and including a renewal charge if you were blocked the whole period. You should not pay for introductions you were never able to receive.

Renewals

Renewal charges (monthly or yearly) are not refundable, except where the law of your country gives you a non-waivable right to one, or where we charged you in error. To avoid an unwanted renewal, cancel before your renewal date — it is shown in your billing dashboard, and yearly plans get a reminder email before renewing.

Credits

Appearance-generation credit packs are refundable within 14 days of purchase if entirely unused. Spent credits are not refundable, though failed generations automatically return their credits to your balance.

Community-equity effects

When a payment is refunded or charged back, the community-equity commissions created by that payment are reversed. If a commission was already paid out against a payment that is later refunded, we may deduct it from future earnings.

Errors and problems

Charged twice, charged after cancelling, or charged the wrong amount? That is our problem, not yours — write to us and we will fix it promptly regardless of the windows above. Nothing in this policy limits your statutory consumer rights.
